The primary mission of the Public Works Department is the improvement and maintenance of the City's Civil Infrastructure (Streets, Traffic Control, Potable Water, Wastewater), solid waste collection and disposal, replacement of sanitary sewer mains, replacement of water distribution lines, pavement rehabilitation or reconstruction of streets. storm sewer improvements, and upgrading of traffic control methods and devices.
